Instructors
Tom Oakes, Owner and Instructor: Tom is the owner and primary instructor for Trail
Masters Touring. He is a pro level mountain biker with years of experience racing dual
slalom, downhill, mountain cross, and BMX. Tom 's passion for the sport of mountain
biking and experience as a teacher motivated him to start Trail Masters so he can share
with others what he has learned over the years. Tom is a Certified Mountain Bike
Instructor and is certified in CPR/First Aid. He is also a New York State Certified Special
Education Teacher.
Cory Blan, Assistant Instructor: Cory is an experienced mountain biker and a Sport
level racer.
Mary Oakes, Assistant Instructor: Mary is a Certified Mountain Bike Instructor, an
Expert level racer, and a New York State Certified Special Education Teacher.
Tony DeLuca, Safety Support: Tony is an EMT and experienced mountain biker.
